Welcome to our 2nd annual Gala at The Gala — In Dreams
The Gala was born in the fall of 2024. Now, one year later, we are gathering to celebrate our first birthday.
This year’s gallery theme is In Dreams; exploring the things that come to us visually in the liminal spaces between waking and sleeping. The spaces where the weird, the beautiful, the surreal and the fleeting are all welcome. Throughout the evening, we will explore the otherworldly state of dreaming through art, music and food.
Inspired by Gala Dali, our Gala at the Gala will always have a costume theme. Gala was well known for her lavish parties that she would throw with her husband, Salvador Dali. The parties always had a specific theme and the attendees never disappointed in their costumes. We strive to carry on this wild, surreal tradition by having a theme of our own each year.
For this year’s theme, we invite you to wear an outfit/costume inspired by something from your dreams. Don’t be scared to go all in. Bearing your dreams on your sleeve can run the full spectrum of emotions and we are here for it all. Whether the dream you want to share is beautiful and silly or dark and twisty, we want to see it. There are no limits.
The evening will include a gallery, live music by Jill Whit and food from World’s Best Corn Dogs. Most of the event will be indoors, but there will be an outdoor patio.
